Yell gives, at first sight, the impression of a rather monotonous landscape of peaty hills. But stay for a while and explore its RSPB reserve and shores: landbirds and otters are well represented here. As a bonus Yell has also two magnificent beaches: Sand Wick and Sands of Breckon. ---
Yell (30 km sur 12) paraît à première vue très monotone: de longues étendues de landes où la tourbe atteint parfois des épaisseurs de plusieurs mètres. Mais il faut y explorer la réserve RSPB de Lumbister et les côtes, sur lesquelles prospère la loutre. Yell possède aussi deux magnifiques plages - Sand Wick et Breckon (Hits: 16476)
