But this one is amongst the best preserved, with seaward wall more than 30 feet. (100 BC - 100 AD) Lewis, Hebrides, Scotland.
Dun Carloway broch (Dun Charlabhaigh broch). Un des très nombreux brochs (tours fortifiées à mur double) qui parsèment la côte atlantique du nord de l'Ecosse (environ 500) Mais celui-ci est un des mieux préservés, avec un mur s'élevant encore, du côté de la mer, à près de 10 m.
