Le plus célèbre des châteaux d'Ecosse. Au point de réunion de 3 lochs, Alexandre II construisit une forteresse contre les incursions viking. La famille Macrea tint le château jusqu'à sa chute lors des guerres jacobites. Le château resta en ruine jusqu'à sa restauration en 1912 par le Colonel John Macrea. |
