My name is Patrick Dieudonné; I am a freelance professional photographer living in Lorraine, France. After a career teaching French Literature in Lycées (secondary high school) I decided to become a full-time travel and landscape photographer.
I can bring to life many of your ideas with my stock photography, home decor art prints, or web design.
My images are now distributed worldwide by three major picture libraries, Robert Harding World Imagery, London (please type 770 in the search box to see my images), Alamy and Getty Images (USA, the world's leading agency). Pictures are also available in prints or posters at art.com or allposters.fr.
All images present in my gallery are available for licensing and art prints at very affordable prices.

Images of Tuscany also selected by major agencies.

Some of my recent clients: Agence de L'Eau Seine-Normandie, Veolia Eau, Chambre de Métiers de la Meuse, mairie d'Epernay en Champagne, Northlink Ferries, Scotland Tourism...
About my two last exhibitions at Montier-en-Der (click on the link for special pages):
Ecosse, de Roc et de Vent (2005, medium and large format panoramic photography of Scotland and Shetland landscapes)
Vallées de Marne, Vallées de Vie (2006, commissioned work for the Agence de l'Eau Seine-Normandie - main french agency in charge of helping water users and representatives with technical and financial assistance)

My first photographic love story was with birds: I have travelled extensively in Europe and Africa to photograph nature and birds and follow them on their migration routes.
A first trip to Shetland in 1998 (mainly for bird photography) opened my eyes to the world of landscape photography in medium and large format.
Many trips to Scotland, Shetland, Ireland, Italy, England, Greece, France, Africa (Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Oman) followed, and landscape and travel photography became progressively dominant over nature photography, with the aim of producing pictures of suffficient high quality to be accepted in major stock agencies.
Medium and large format have changed my photography towards a more patient and reflexive approach, and developed also my technical skills.
After moving to professional photography, I have developed other specialities to respond to various demands, amongst them aerial photography, still life photography and equine photography.
I am currently working more than before on my region in France, Lorraine and Meuse department. This is a pleasant country, whith a rich and too often dramatic historic background, nice towns and vast expanses of nature globally well preserved. See some recent photographs of Meuse river and valley here.
A taste for independance and a growing interest for the web are the origin of my current skills in digital imagery and web conception and design.
This website, for example, combines various resources and languages ( PHP, Html, SQL, XML, CSS & Javascript) to obtain the flexible results I need. I use regularly softwares such as Dreamveawer, InDesign, Flash, Photoshop and others in my different projects, either for the web or in print.
