Stones were heated in fire then thrown into stone pit, causing water to boil. - - Puits de cuisson neolithique de Drombeg (Fulacht Fiadh). Des pierres étaient passées au feu puis jetées dans l'auge de pierre, produisant une grande quantité d'eau bouillante pour la cuisson. Méthode attestée jusqu'aux Shetland |
